The names above are the number of celebrities who have made supportive statements regarding Israel while remaining silent about the massacre of Palestinians.
But should we be surprised about this?
Celebrity culture has always been about elevating the most fatuous in our midst and using them as a means of distracting us from what the real issues are.
This is a tried and tested tactic and one which has had extreme success in the past.
Think back to the 1950s and 60s.
