Why am I banging on about Medium’s business model? Because in 2019 Medium wasn’t profitable. I know they’ve recently stopped funding a lot of publications (Sorry to see you go, ‘PS I Love You’) but I can bet they still aren’t making money and are still bankrolled by investors.
