Now what does this say about Americans?

I’m automatically attracted to beautiful — I just start kissing them. It’s like a magnet. Just kiss. I don’t even wait,” Trump said. “When you’re a star, they let you do it. You can do anything. Grab ’em by the pussy. You can do anything

The comments above were by the 45th President of the United States of America and those words were lent a higher degree of importance given his latest conviction for sexual assault of a journalist —E. Jean Caroll.

It’s perfectly natural to think that the guilty verdict will do great damage to Trump’s Presidential aspirations, but to those who know better, they know that it is just another day in the Trump soap opera.

And what exactly do I mean by this?

For our protagonist, it is water off the duck’s back; it’s as though nothing ever happened.

It’s my belief that Trump can assault as many women as he likes and people will still turn out to vote for him.

And I am not talking about hundreds of thousands here; tens of millions might very well be a conservative estimate.

While this reality is more enough to get liberal folks foaming at the mouth like Cappuccino, it does not change the sad state of affairs.

Back in 2016, the American public had more than enough information on Trump’s misdemeanors not to vote for him and yet they handed him the most consequential job on the planet over the infinitely better qualified Hilary Clinton.

And this recent conviction changes nothing.

But we must pose the question, who do you blame? Do we point the finger at white men who feel threatened by the ever changing world or the white women on the right side of the political spectrum who have always helped maintain white male patriarchy?

I pose these questions because you would have thought that white women would have turned out in their millions for one of their own in Hilary Clinton in November 2016, given her extraordinary pedigree, polymathic brain and rejected the unreconstructed sexist dinosaur.
