Yet another reason for Europe to reject Pax Americana…

It is not breaking news that Europe’s leading nations have lurched to the extreme right over the last 20 years.

The likes of Georgia Meloni, Marine Le Pen, Geert Wilders, Viktor Orban and Nigel Farage have enjoyed electoral success in their respective countries, demonizing Muslim refugees seeking refuge from the Middle East as vermin.

But no one is talking about the main reason behind the surge in migrant crossings to West Europe, which is America’s support for Israel’s atrocities in the most unstable region in the world and the United Kingdom and France’s weapons’ trade to the Netanyahu government.

In its quest to destroy Hezbollah, the state of Israel turned its guns on Lebanon and Syria and the single biggest effect of this decision has led to Syrian and Lebanese refugees fleeing to Turkey in large numbers.

For those who have little knowledge of geography and history, Turkey or Turkiye, straddles two continents — Asia and Europe — and through its greatest ever leader — Mustapha Kemal Ataturk — enjoyed a series of victories against the Brits, during the first world war and went on to found a republic based on secular values.
