Vagina: The Centerpiece of The 2022 Mid-Term Elections

These days, nearly everyone is obsessed with the female genitalia.

And when I say nearly everyone, I am referring to the Supreme Court of the United states, the Republican party, white evangelicals, Catholic priests, Fox News, Donald Trump, Joe Rogan, Jordan Peterson, Elon Musk and Facebook.

Yes, you read that right.

Not even Mark Zuckerberg’s establishment is at all immune from the current madness; Facebook is just as obsessed with controlling the vagina these days as our friends on the right.

We learnt a few days ago that Facebook turned over a user’s messages over to the police in Nebraska as proof of contravention of the state’s abortion laws.

Since when did behemoths fold so easily to state governments and since when did social media giants launch a war against women’s rights to their bodies?

And right before our very eyes, Facebook has picked a side in this culture war.

One also wonders what would have become of Twitter had Elon Musk chosen to go ahead with his complete takeover; would Twitter have been a safe haven for the sexist neanderthals in the GOP and their friends in the media?
