Will this belated effort delay its inevitable demise?

It is not the strongest species that survive, nor the most intelligent, but the ones most responsive to change.

It is not the strongest or the most intelligent who will survive but those who can best manage change.

It is not the strongest of the species that survives, but rather, that which is most adaptable to change.

These are words one of the Britain’s most famous figures —Charles Darwin.

It is widely accepted that these words are not only applicable to the subject matter of biology, but to also every nearly every field of human endeavour such as psychology, governance, and business.

For the very longest time, It would seem that Vocal media’s leadership team failed to grasp what Ev Williams intuitively understood when he created Medium 10 years ago.

For a platform dedicated to the written word to succeed on a grand scale, it would have to be interactive. Which means that it isn’t good enough to write brilliant and powerful articles, if you can’t have people leaving comments about how much the subject matter has affected them.
