Wars are ugly.

And much more importantly, there’s always collateral damage, when wars are waged between countries.

But not once do politicians think that their nearest and dearest would be among those killed by war.

Why have I written this?

Anyone who has read my article about Putin’s brain trust, who is also known as Rasputin, will appreciate the degree to which his intellect has shaped the Russian strongman’s world view.

Dugin had written and spoken prolifically of a Russia operating independently of the United States and flexing its muscles on the global stage. His book, Foundation of Geopolitics is essential reading.

Dugin was behind Russia’s bid to retake South Ossetia, which used to be part of Georgia, several years ago.

And It is no exaggeration to state that it was our protagonist’s idea to invade Ukraine in order to retake Crimea and Odessa. And given his profound influence on the Russian strongman, it is no surprise that he is on the wanted list.

And it is precisely why the news of the killing of Dugin’s daughter has put everything…
