One man’s dominated the airwaves today.

No prizes for guessing.

It’s Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

You would be forgiven for thinking that the victims of the earthquake in Turkey and Syria would receive far more coverage than Biden’s State of the Union speech or some diminutive guy dressed in army fatigues speaking to the British political class?

No.

Not even 11,000 dead children, women and men could compete with the might of the Ukrainian President shaking hands with the King of England and addressing both houses of parliament, in his bid to secure more weapons to defeat Vladmir Putin.

While I am prepared to admit that I initially got carried away with Zelenskyy Kool-Aid, when the Russian leader chose to invade his sovereign neighbour a year ago, I must state that my views have changed somewhat.

In the course of the last 12 months, we have seen the pint-sized gentleman go from plucky outsider to an international statesman, whose face adorns the premier fashion magazines in the English speaking world.

And in that same time, we have seen the biggest American private equity firms and multi-nationals, helping themselves to the ruins of…
