What's extraordinary here is that I have written something about God and extreme capitalism.

I have lived and worked in some of the most extreme capitalist countries in the world; societies I have come to label as “hyper capitalist,” where the ethos of consumerism and cut-throat competition have replaced religion in all but name, and where one’s value as a human being is not intrinsic, but rather determined by the gods of materialism from up on high who sit in our perpetual judgement.
