But the departure of the big names was anticipated and in their place, new names have emerged to lead the charge.

The reason for this article, isn’t about angry writers but about the complete absence of notifications from our timelines.

Notifications?

Yes.

Notifications are a necessary evil on our beloved platform.

The green highlight on the top of your page, informs you of those who have applauded and commented on your articles.

At times like this, Buster Benson would have written an article, informing everyone of the latest developments, but our man has been silent on this new development.

And we must ask, is it a temporary hitch or is it a permanent move?

It would be nice to know what the reasoning is behind the absence of notifications and be treated like grown ups.
