When I went to Ghana just before the pandemic kicked in, I wasn't happy with what I saw.

If you're among the elite, earning hundreds of thousands in dollars annually, you are as far removed from the every day concerns of average folk.

At the restaurant that I went to, my Nigerian friends were the only Black folk there. Everyone else was white, Lebanese or Asian. Movenpick Hotel in Accra was quite expensive. Given how wealthy my friends are, they could afford to shut down the biggest night club, ordering bottle after bottle.

As bad as the poverty is in Ghana, It is a million times worse in Nigeria.

There are Nigerians who would rather live in Ghana than Nigeria and yet you can't wait to leave?

It speaks volumes.

We need a political class that would shake things up.
