Where Is Jason Weiland?
In search of another brilliant writer.
A major part of the attraction of being here are the writers and the writing community.
Even when you don’t read the work of the writer in question, seeing their presence here is quite reassuring.
And the presence or more appropriately, the absence of Jason Weiland is a serious source of concern.
While I might have attributed this to the algorithm in times past, I am not too sure that perspective holds very much water these days.
I went to Jason’s page and the last submission from him was back in March.
And this is June.
Anyone with a fair degree of familiarity with Jason Weiland will know about his life in the Philippines with his wife and family.
Readers will also have read about his health issues and about his efforts to reconnect with his folks in the United States.
It’s impossible to read about another writer’s travails without having them in mind.
Is he safe reconnecting with his family in the United States? Is he in good health? Is life kind to him and his nearest and dearest?
Or is it the degree course keeping him away from Medium? His last article did write in a bit of detail about his degree course.
