while i agree that autodidacticism is an absolute must in this age, there is a lot to be said about identifying the biases in every publication that you lay your fingers on and yes, i include the Economist……

Understanding that people’s biases shape their worldview, you are able to separate the wheat from the chaff, even as you voraciously read and broaden your world view…..
