The mind of the real life Tony Stark
Something strange is happening lately with the world’s wealthiest individual.
At what should be the greatest moment in his business career, our man is showing signs of seriously coming apart. It is almost as though the words that Denzel Washington offered to Will Smith at the academy awards are equally applicable to the South African born billionaire:
Be careful, at your highest moment is when the devil comes for you.
And the devil, it seems, has been working overtime lately with Elon.
The very first message which kick started it all can be seen below
Since then, we have had torrents of messages which betray a degree of turbulence inside our man’s head.
What exactly could it be? Is it the Democrats or the Russians? Have direct threats been made on his life? Are they privy to information that the rest of us have no idea of? Could it be the security exchange commission(SEC) or could it be the performance of the most thing (TESLA) in his life?
I must confess that these questions are posed with an admixture of facetiousness and concern.
Anyone with a basic knowledge of the markets will appreciate that these aren’t the best of times for Tesla.
In the last few weeks alone, Tesla’s numbers have dropped quite precipitously — 40% to be exact — and it’s been kicked off the S&P 500 ESG index.
Given Musk’s umpteen tweets expressing deep profound bitterness at what is largely his own fault, I, like most sane people, am slightly bemused.
And when you go on to review his tweet regarding the Democrats, then we are looking at a whole new level of bizarre behaviour.
