Who is More Antisemitic: The Left or The Right?

My response to a reader’s take on the subject matter.

This post is inspired by a response to an article that I wrote regarding Tucker Carlson a few days ago.

My point about Carlson’s antisemitism was that the presenter’s words were reminiscent of the sort of language used in the past to describe Jewish financiers.

The commentator, Galvinmike wrote the following:

What a load of tosh. First of all Soros did in fact make his fortune as a very large scale currency speculator and although there are numerous causes for the great recession that hit the Tiger Economies it is absolutely true that the machinations of Soros and other foreign traders to deliberately destroy their currencies for their own profit was part of it. Certainly there is no question their actions to enrich themselves immiserated the lives of millions of people in SE Asia. Carlson’s objections to Mr Soros’ political activities has no more to do with his being nominally of the Jewish faith then Watergate was about President Nixon having been raised a Quaker. Soros has supported district attorneys who refuse to prosecute crimes (except for rare ones committed by police) and the consequences have been a huge increase in violent crimes with the bulk of their victims members of the minority groups progressives like Soros and his…
