An study in extraordinary hypocrisy.

Liberte, Egalite et Fraternite.

These words were the basis of the French revolution and subsequently, the third Republic.

The French, as is their wont, never did let these grandiloquent words get in the way of the theft of billions by way of the slave trade and colonialism.

The point here is that no one does hypocrisy like the French.

Not the Brits, Americans or anyone else.

So why have I raised this subject?

The recent protests on the streets of Paris about the ‘evils’ of NATO and the Ukrainian war.

Contrary to the British and American public, who have been largely supportive of their government’s efforts in propping up Ukraine, there’s an undercurrent of opposition to the war in Eastern Europe.

Scratch that.
