Why are Toupees No Longer a Thing of Shame and Embarrassment?

Just asking..

Humphrey Bogart wore one.

So did Howard Cossell and Sean Connery had to put one on along with his tuxedo and Walther PPK as James Bond.

The seven time formula one champion — Lewis Carl Hamilton — has had one for a few years now.

And the next president of the United States of America — Donald John Trump — has had one for the very longest time.

So what am I talking about?

I am talking about toupees — the male wig.

Baldness, for millions of men around the world, is a thing of shame and yet, most men will lose much of their hair by the age of 40.

And those who are able to spot a full barnet (London rhyming slang for hair) or afro, beyond their 50th birthday, are actually among tiny minority of men.

And I, like most blokes, have slowly started to come to terms with the fact that there might not be much hair left on my head by the time I get to the next landmark birthday.

Not unless I did something about it.

And that might entail some radical hair treatment to ensure that the burgeoning bald patch is reinvigorated into catching up with every other part of my head.
