Benjamin Franklin — -one of the founding fathers of the United States of America — understood this fact long before most did and he published Poor Richard’s Almanac and The Way to Wealth to great acclaim.

Phrases which we often use without thinking came from the self-help books written by Franklin:

One today is worth two tomorrows
