Why Do The Royals Bother With Stupid Trips Around The World?

The tide has begun to turn against the royals…

Just in case you are oblivious to what’s going on around the globe, you would be pleased to know that Ukraine is still pinning Russia back and here in blighty, the younger royals are off to the West Indies or Caribbean to shore up support for her majesty’s platinum jubilee celebrations or some might say, to check if the natives are still pro-monarchy.

With the events that took place in Bridgetown, Barbados last year, still ringing in their ears, the royals are keen to send a strong message that it sees the Caribbean Islands as part of its dominion.

And this certainly was the mindset with which William and Kate, also known as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge had when they chose to hop on the plane to go to Belize, Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago.

But they failed miserably to read the mood of the times.

Once before, they could expect to be greeted by thousands of school children waving the Union jack, the mood these days is completely different; top of the agenda is reparations. If you aren’t prepared to open up your coffers and pay up, then don’t bother coming, bugger off.
