Last weekend did provide quite a bit of entertainment and for this, we have Chinese factory workers to thank.
In a series of tiktok content, we were treated to the breakdown of the actual costs of commodities from China with luxury items such as Birkin and Louis Vutton being the objects of scrutiny.
What was also interesting about this content was the fact that these factory workers had no qualms trolling folks for purchasing overpriced goods.
If you knew or read nothing about the fetishism of commodity, you were quickly brought up to speed with the social media content.
Not even five hundred pages of Das Kapital could have explained it so powerfully and succinctly.
