Will AI Change The Military Industrial Complex For The Better or Worse?
Will wars be smarter and shorter and will terrorism be a thing of the past?
Artificial intelligence is God.
And it suffices to say that this modern day God has permeated every facet of our lives more than ever before.
It is omnipresent, omniscient, omnipotent and I daresay everything that God of the old and new testament wasn’t in terms of its vast network over a global population of 8 billion people.
Simply put, the limits which existed in the 19th and 20th centuries do not exist in the 21st century.
When Dwight Eisenhower gave his final speech as President of the United States in January 1960 on the military industrial complex, not even he nor the scientists of the age could have envisaged the degree to which AI would control our lives.
But here we are in the age of extreme capitalism in 2023, in which the race to create the smartest, most powerful machine technology is driving every aspect of our civilization.
And it is no exaggeration to state that AI is the biggest driving force right now.
