Was Yemen justified in their blockade of Israel, and was America justified in bombing Yemen in retaliation? Those questions will be left to other authors to discuss. What is certain beyond any doubt is that war in Yemen is completely avoidable. And it will be far more expensive in the long run than the economic cost to shipping that it claims to remedy.
